I feel like tartan is taking over to much for people to realise how amazing pinstripe is at the moment. Yes it does automatically have an office-like feel to it - but approached and styled differently can make it a staple item in your wardrobe. Wide stripes clashing with narrow stripes or a play-on-colours - the possibilities of pinstripe are endless!
I've been browsing online and not many stores seem to do a more up-to-date feel for the pinstripe. But I have managed to find a few stores that stock the basic pinstripe attire, along with sifting out a few incredible items amongst the load of tartan, over sized coats and black boots at the trusty Zara website. As well as the high street, I've also been looking for pinstripe on eBay and whilst I was sourcing fabrics the other day for my Uni project, I came across some beautiful variations of pinstripe - so I think I might just buy some pinstripe fabric and make something for myself!
Anyway, here are a handful of high street/designer pinstripe picks!
